La Dolce Vita Orient Express is an Italian luxury train that transforms every journey into an experience shaped by beauty, culture and Made in Italy design.

Designed by Dimorestudio, its interiors celebrate the golden age of Italian design, reinterpreting the atmosphere, materials and aesthetic influences of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s through a contemporary perspective.

ARQ contributes to onboard fire safety with approved design fire extinguishers created to blend naturally with the refined interiors of the train’s carriages.

In the La Dolce Vita Orient Express project, fire safety is not treated as a technical element to be hidden, but as an integral part of the interior design concept.

For architects and interior designers, this addresses a key challenge in luxury projects: ensuring that fire protection devices remain visible, accessible and fully functional without disrupting the aesthetic continuity of the space.

ARQ designer fire extinguishers remain immediately recognisable and accessible while blending coherently with the surrounding interiors. In the approved model selected for La Dolce Vita Orient Express, ARQ’s gold finish is paired with the RAL 3000 red specified by UNI EN 3-7, creating a distinctive and harmonious colour combination. Traditionally perceived as a purely technical and visually intrusive object, the fire extinguisher becomes an elegant and refined design element, fully aligned with luxury interiors where every detail contributes to the identity of the project. Fire safety thus becomes an integral part of the design while remaining compliant with applicable regulations.
